"Tea tempers the spirit and harmonizes the mind,
dispels lassitude and relieves fatigue; awakens
thought and prevents drowsiness."
(Lu Yu, 5th Century Chinese Poet)

Tip

" I sometimes take a little quote or a poem like this and type it out, then cut it with my fancy scissors and paste it on a sheet of watercolor paper that I have colored. A few weeks ago, I did this using the heart shape and then put them on napkins rings I had made as a favor to take home. "

"My copper kettle

whistles merrily

and signals that

it is time for tea.

There's lemon and sugar

and sweet cream, too.

But, best of all

there's friendship, between you and me.

As we lovingly share

our afternoon tea."
